The athletic training program, within the School of Rehabilitation and Medical Sciences of The Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow College of Health Professions at Central Michigan University ( CMU ), is recruiting for a full-time, ten-month, tenure-track faculty member, at either Assistant or Associate rank, to begin August 2025, or an alternate negotiated start date. We are looking for an outstanding candidate who will demonstrate a deep commitment to excellent teaching and mentoring at both undergraduate and graduate levels (including our 3+2 athletic training major and the CAATE -accredited MSAT degree), actively contribute to service within the institution, the profession, and the broader community, as well as, enhance the program’s research and grant activities. The successful candidate should possess leadership and collaborative skills to assist with the administration and organization of the program.
Salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications and experience. Applicants for the rank of Associate Professor must have held an Assistant or Associate position and present evidence of teaching, service, and scholarly activity consistent with criteria established by the school for the rank.
