We are a full-service Ford dealership offering new and pre-owned vehicle sales, service, and parts. We are seeking an experienced, driven, and hands-on General Manager to lead our dealership to new levels of growth and excellence. Position Summary The General Manager will be responsible for the overall success of Janssen Ford of York. This role oversees all departments including sales, finance, service, and parts. The GM will ensure operational efficiency, profitability, employee development, and an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities * Provide leadership and strategic direction for all dealership departments * Develop and execute plans to achieve sales, service, and financial goals * Foster a culture of customer satisfaction and employee engagement * Recruit, train, and mentor department managers and staff * Analyze and report on dealership performance using key metrics * Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and all applicable regulations * Manage inventory levels and vehicle ordering * Implement and uphold high standards for ethical business practices * Represent the dealership positively within the community Qualifications * Minimum 5 years of progressive automotive management experience (GM or GSM preferred) * Strong understanding of dealership operations, P&L, and forecasting * Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams * Exceptional customer service and communication skills * Ability to make sound business decisions under pressure * Familiarity with Ford dealership operations is a strong plus What We Offer * Competitive base salary + performance-based bonuses * Health, dental, and vision insurance * 401(k) with company match * Paid time off and holiday pay * Ongoing professional development and training * A stable, family-oriented work environment Join Our Team If you are a proven leader with a passion for automotive excellence and a drive to grow a successful dealership, we want to hear from you.
